BHSU CROWNS SWARM DAYS KING AND QUEEN

Seniors Rawlin Smith from Bison and Brooke Parette from Rapid City were crowned King and Queen on Thursday, Sept. 19 as part of Swarm Days, the annual homecoming week at Black Hills State University.

Smith is majoring in English education. After completing his education at BHSU, Smith hopes to teach high school and become a college professor in the future.

Parette is majoring in business management with a minor in marketing. Parette also hopes to study abroad.

Joining them on the Swarm Days Royal Court are Lexie Bendigo, Megan Brozik, Megan Finstrom, Wes Koenig, Jadynn Outland, Derek Riederer, John Shanklin, and Caleb Simons.

The 2024 Swarm Days theme is "Swarm Into the Fun, Mardi Gras Has Begun."
