The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Office of Sustainability is offering the public the opportunity to share input on a plan that will help the campus and community adapt to the impacts of climate change.
UW-Stevens Point's Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP) will be discussed at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, at the Pinery Room at the Portage County Public Library, 1001 Main St., Stevens Point. The plan outlines strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and find ways to adapt to the economic, environmental and social challenges caused by climate change. Feedback is sought to learn more about the current strengths and vulnerabilities in our communities.
