Willkie is advising Keyfactor, Inc., the leader in trust infrastructure for AI and machines, on its acquisition of Cofide, an identity platform that secures software workloads and AI agents across cloud environments.

On July 27, Keyfactor, a portfolio company of Insight Partners, announced its intent to acquire UK-based Cofide. The transaction extends Keyfactor's platform to workloads and AI agents, giving security teams one system to manage and govern every non-human identity across the enterprise.

Willkie previously advised Insight Partners on its investment in Keyfactor and subsequently advised Keyfactor in connection with a minority investment by Sixth Street Growth in 2023 and a recent $1 billion-plus investment by Summit Partners.

Insight Partners is a global software investor partnering with high-growth technology, software, and Internet startup and ScaleUp companies.

The Willkie team is led by partner Philip Coletto and includes associates Christopher Selwyn and Isabel Hazelton.
