North West Legislature Portfolio and Select Committees to meet departments over 2026/27 First Quarter Performance Reports

The North West Provincial Legislature's Portfolio and Select Committees will hold virtual oversight meetings with various provincial departments including the North West Provincial Legislature and entities on the 2026/26 First Quarterly Performance Reports.

The virtual oversight meetings are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, 12 August 2026

• Standing Committee on Oversight over the North West Provincial Legislature chaired by Hon. Michal Groenewald: North West Provincial Legislature led by the Speaker, Dr. Desbo Mohono at 08h00-10h00.

Thursday, 13 August 2026

• Portfolio Committee on Education, Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation chaired by Hon. Priscilla Williams: Department of Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation and Mmabana Arts, Culture and Sports Foundation led by MEC Virginia Tlhapi at 11h30 - 13h00.

• Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs chaired by Hon. Kgalalelo Makgokgowa: Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Department of Human Settlements led by MEC Gaoage Molapisi and North West Housing Corporation at 13h00 - 16h00.
