Cleco to continue Winter Storm Fern power restoration efforts into the night

Overnight outages expected for some areas

Cleco and over 600 contractors have restored power to 90 percent of the 17,800 customers who lost power following Winter Storm Fern.

"As we've wrapped up restoration in areas of the state, we are sending these crews to work on remaining power outages," said Clint Robichaux, director of distribution operations and reliability. "We expect to restore power to more customers tonight, but some customers will be without power overnight."

Power is expected to be restored to the following areas tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026.

  • Campti
  • Coushatta
  • Grand Cane
  • Hickory Hills
  • Keatchie
  • Kickapoo
  • Mansfield city limits with the exception of South Park Ave. to Model Road and north to Hwy 84
  • Toledo Bend area (south of Zwolle and west of Many)
  • Zwolle

"While we're working toward these goals, there is the possibility that crews uncover unexpected damage that could prolong some outages, but that is our best assessment at this point in the day," said Robichaux. "And we want to alert our customers that the Mansfield Customer Service Office will remain closed tomorrow."
