Kicking Off the New Year with Copper!

Copper, our beloved Comfort Dog, and the Bureau of Community Engagement made a special visit to the early childhood classes at the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy. The students were thrilled to return from their holiday break and meet Copper, who brought smiles, wagging tails, and lots of excitement to the classroom!

During the visit, the Bureau of Community Engagement explained the important role of a Comfort Dog in law enforcement, highlighting how Copper builds connections and provides support in the community. The students also learned about Copper's busy schedule, her training journey since March, and the skills she's been mastering along the way.
