On December 10, 2025 at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan held a meeting with Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Committee of China.
Sohail Khan thanked the Chinese side for its consistent support of the Secretariat's work and expressed readiness to further develop contacts for the implementation of joint cultural and humanitarian projects.
The parties exchanged views on practical cooperation in the fields of culture, sports, education, and healthcare. The parties also discussed the plan of events for 2026 in the context of the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Organization.
