RESTON, Va. -April 9, 2026 - Mechanical Orchard, the applied AI company that develops, licenses, and implements software for legacy modernization, Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, today announced that Mechanical Orchard's legacy modernization platform, Imogen®, has been added to Carahsoft's GSA Schedule contract. This addition enables Carahsoft and its reseller partners to provide Mechanical Orchard's platform to Federal, State, and Local Governments and Educational Institutions.
"The addition to Carahsoft's GSA Schedule contract marks an important step in expanding Public Sector access to Mechanical Orchard's legacy modernization platform," said Mark Forsthoffer, VP of Federal at Mechanical Orchard. "Through this partnership, federal agencies can easily procure our behavior-driven modernization platform to safely modernize legacy systems. We look forward to working with Carahsoft to support agencies as they modernize critical infrastructure while maintaining mission continuity."
Mechanical Orchard's Imogen helps Federal agencies transform legacy systems into cloud-ready applications at speed while preserving uninterrupted access to mission-critical services. It rewrites legacy workloads piece by piece based on their behavior, not through translating code, and continually tests for equivalence using actual system data flows. This eliminates the uncertainty and execution risk that characterize complex modernization efforts. Agencies can reset technical debt, reduce maintenance costs and make changes moving forward with ease, without disruption.
"Government agencies continue to face growing pressure to modernize legacy systems while maintaining mission continuity," said Seamus Bergen, Sales Director overseeing the Mechanical Orchard Team at Carahsoft. "By adding Mechanical Orchard's behavior-driven modernization platform to our GSA Schedule contract, Carahsoft and our reseller partners can help federal agencies accelerate cloud adoption, reduce technical debt, and improve long-term system resilience. We look forward to working with Mechanical Orchard and our reseller partners to expand access to practical, low-risk modernization solutions across the Public Sector."
Mechanical Orchard is available through Carahsoft's GSA Schedule No. 47QSWA18D008F contract.
