12TH STREET SIDEWALK INFILL PROJECT BEGINS AUGUST 11

The City of Lewiston has partnered with Knife River Corporation - Mountain West to begin construction on the 12th Street Sidewalk Infill Project, which includes a half-block improvement on Bryden Avenue between Thain Road and 12th Street.

This project will enhance pedestrian access and safety by installing the following infrastructure:

• 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalks

• Concrete curb and gutter

• ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps

• Stormwater swales

• Pavement patching

Construction Timeline:
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, August 11, 2025, with crews typically working between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

What to Expect:
Motorists and pedestrians should expect temporary delays and disruptions in the area as work progresses. As with any construction project, schedules are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions. We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation during this improvement effort.
