The Republican Budget paves the way for tax cuts for billionaires paid by for by the middle class

WASHINGTON, DC - Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.) issued the following statement after voting "No" on the Republican budget.

"Republicans have paved the way for massive tax cuts for their beloved billionaires.

"At a time when Trump's tariffs are driving prices up while tanking the markets, we should all be focused on doing everything in our power to bring costs down for working families.

"But that's just not how Republicans see it.

"This Republican budget is all about billionaires getting richer on the backs of hardworking families. I voted a firm NO."
