Traffic Advisory Calaveras County 04/10/26

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 4 (SR-4), 26, and 49 in Calaveras County next week.

State Route 4

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Lower Moran Road to Horseshoe Drive for survey work beginning Monday, April 13, 2026, through Thursday April 16, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control takes place at Jesus Maria Road for tree work on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control takes place from North Fork Calaveras River to Gold Strike Road for utility work on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from Lombardi Drive to George Reed Company Entrance for utility work on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
