Motorcyclist Deceased After Crash With Vehicle

A motorcyclist has been killed following a crash with another vehicle in Southeast Portland. The Major Crash Team is responding to investigate.

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:09 p.m., officers from the Central Precinct responded to reports of a crash between a motorcycle and vehicle at the intersection of Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 28th Avenue. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the motorcycle rider to an area hospital, where they later died. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.

The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team is responding to investigate. During the investigation, Southeast Powell Boulevard will be closed between Southeast 26th Avenue and Southeast 29th Avenue.
