September 2026 roadwork report

Interstate 30 (I-30) - From Farm to Market road (FM) 989/Kings Highway to Arkansas state line, widening highway. Westbound lanes back to traditional, two-lane traffic pattern. Westbound entrance & exit ramps open.

  • Traveling I-30 eastbound:

Exit 217 to access Kings Highway & FM 2148.

Exit 218 for local access east of Pecan Street.

Left thru lane, no option to exit.

  • Traveling to I-30 eastbound from Interstate 369 / U.S. Highway (U.S.) 59 / State Loop (SL) 151:

Exit 114B / Richmond Road for local access.

Eastbound I-30 connector bridge, no option to exit.

FM 989/Kings Highway - at I-30. Bridge replacement. Traffic detoured.

I-30 - From FM 989 to FM 3419, extension of frontage roads. Lane closure on Hampton Road. FM 2148 underpass open. Turnaround bridge at FM 3419 open. Interstate westbound entrance ramp west of Kings Highway open.

U.S. 82 - From U.S. 259 to I-30, widening road. I-30 at U.S. 82 eastbound exit ramp closed. FM 992 south at U.S. 82 intersection open. Traffic switch onto new pavement in De Kalb.

U.S. 82 - From U.S. 259 to Red River County line, widening road. Daytime lane closure with traffic signal.

U.S. 82 - From FM 1398 north to Spur 86. Nightly pavement operations from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Lane closure with flagger present.
