We must not allow anyone to put an end to our programmes launched for the survival of Hungarian communities beyond the borders

We must not allow anyone to put an end to our programmes launched for the survival of Hungarian communities beyond the borders, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told Hungarians beyond the borders in a video message he posted on Facebook on Wednesday.

Mr Orbán said the Hungarian nation is facing an important decision: both within and beyond the borders, we are compelled to face threats and crises we had not seen the likes of for a long time. "The decision about the fate of our nation is in your hands, too. I encourage you to exercise your franchise and to protect the common results we have achieved in the past 16 years," he stressed.

The Prime Minister called upon them not to allow anyone to put an end to our programmes launched for the survival of Hungarian communities beyond the borders, not to allow anyone to question the franchise of Hungarians beyond the borders, and not to allow anyone to separate that which belongs and is now growing together in the Carpathian Basin.

"We know and believe that every Hungarian is responsible for every other Hungarian. Every vote counts. Which way Hungary turns may depend on a single vote. Therefore, I ask you to support Fidesz and the Christian Democratic People's Party again. We are the safe choice in an uncertain world. Come on Hungary! Come on Hungarians!" Mr Orbán said.
