Court of Appeals Issues Appointment Orders

On June 29 the D.C. Court of Appeals issued several orders regarding new appointments. Judge Vanessa Ruiz was reappointed as a senior judge on the Court of Appeals for two years, effective July 2, 2026.
Appointed to three-year terms on the Board on Professional Responsibility (BPR) are Sharon R. Rice-Hicks, William V. Hindle, Aaron G. Pease, and Joshua D. Rogaczewski. Margaret M. Cassidy and Thomas E. Gilbertsen will serve as BPR chair and vice chair, respectively. The BPR terms begin August 1, 2026.
