Dear Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Contact Center,
I am writing to recognize the exceptional service provided by TSA Manager Chris Perlman at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. His kindness, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made an unforgettable impact on my travel experience and my life.
Due to an issue where my TSA Precheck status did not transfer onto my American Airlines boarding pass, I was facing the very real possibility of missing my flight. I was distressed, and the situation was quickly escalating into a travel nightmare.
That's when Chris stepped in. Not only was Chris kind and calm, but he went out of his way to help me navigate the situation. He personally assisted me in bypassing the regular TSA lines (to the front of security screening line), and most remarkably, after screening, he walked with me all the way to my gate to ensure I made it on time.
I was in tears from stress and gratitude. Thanks to his extraordinary decision, I made it home just in time to celebrate my father's 80th birthday, a moment I would have deeply regretted missing.
Chris' compassion and commitment exemplify what outstanding customer service should look like. He has a big heart, and it showed.
I sincerely hope his efforts are recognized by your team, as he turned what could have been a terrible experience into a meaningful one that I'll never forget. If every airport had someone like Chris Perlman, travel would be a much more human and caring experience. Please extend my deepest thanks to him.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Lisa Lakin
