Google gradi prvi podatkovni centar u Austriji
U mjestu Kronstorf u Gornjoj Austriji započela je izgradnja prvog podatkovnog centra tvrtke Google u Austriji. Projekt obuhvaća područje od 50 hektara, a očekuje se otvaranje oko 100 radnih mjesta.
Centar će služiti za jačanje infrastrukture za cloud usluge i aplikacije umjetne inteligencije. Riječ je o prvoj fizičkoj infrastrukturi Googlea u Austriji, iako tvrtka već godinama ima ured u Beču.
Projekt je odgovor na rastuće potrebe za računalnom snagom, posebno zbog razvoja modela umjetne inteligencije, cloud usluga te video platformi poput YouTubea.
