Curry County Events Center Secures Naming Rights Sponsor in Historic Partnership with The Citizens Bank of Clovis

Clovis, NM - May 2025 - Curry County and The Citizens Bank of Clovis are proud to announce a landmark sponsorship agreement that includes naming rights to the county's premier multi-use venue. The facility will now be known as the Citizens Bank of Clovis Events Center-a name that reflects a shared commitment to community, collaboration, and local development.

This partnership, nearly 16 years in the making, underscores the bank's long-standing tradition of supporting local institutions. "I'm honored to have Citizens Bank's name on this Events Center," said Curry County Commissioner Brad Bender. "This partnership demonstrates what's possible when local leadership and private investment come together."

The sponsorship, formalized in May 2025 through the leadership of General Manager K.C. Messick and Citizens Bank President Kent Carruthers, opens the door for expanded programming, upgraded facilities, and greater opportunities for the community.

"We believe in investing in places where people can gather, grow, and thrive," said Carruthers. "This sponsorship is a reflection of our belief in Clovis, our future, and the power of partnership."
