Sinclair Names Sierra Horton Vice President and General Manager of WTGS in Savannah and WGXA in Macon, Georgia

SAVANNAH, Ga. - July 27, 2026 - Sinclair today announced the appointment of Sierra Horton as Vice President and General Manager of WTGS (FOX) in Savannah and WGXA (FOX/ABC) in Macon, Georgia.

A Savannah native, Horton joined Sinclair in 2017 and has advanced through a series of leadership roles supporting both WTGS and WGXA. Most recently, she served as Station Manager for the stations.

"Sierra's deep knowledge of the Savannah and Macon markets, combined with her commitment to our employees, clients, and communities, makes her the right leader to build on the strong foundation at these stations," said Rob Weisbord, Chief Operating Officer and President of Local Media at Sinclair.
