Save water and money with Fix a Leak Week
Join us in conserving water during Fix a Leak Week, March 16 - 22, 2026. Join your neighbors and take action against household leaks and make a difference!
According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the average home wastes more than 10,000 gallons of water annually from household leaks - enough to wash 270 loads of laundry! To help residents identify and address these issues, here are some key tips:
- Monitor Your Water Meter
- Check Water Usage
- Inspect Fixtures
- Test Toilets
- Examine Irrigation Systems and Spigots
To assist residents in their leak-fixing efforts, local retailers are offering valuable resources and discounts. From March 16 - 22, 2026, visit your neighborhood Ace Hardware for special discounts on leak repair materials. Also, check out money-saving tips at our local Lowe's store before heading out to purchase supplies.
