News Release Date:

Contact: Christy Fleming, 307-548-5406

Lovell WY - The roads in the Yellowtail Habitat are open and cleared of hazardous trees thanks to the work of United States Forest Service, National Park Service and Wyoming Game and Fish crews. Habitat managers will continue to monitor the situation. Visitors should expect periodic closures throughout the summer and into the fall for continued hazardous tree removal as time allows.

Visitors are reminded to remain cautious when recreating in the Yellowtail Habitat area. Standing trees in the perimeter of the fire are weak and could become potential fall hazards during wind and other weather events.
