MCCA Names Samir Bakhru a Rising Star

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has named Orrick partner Samir Bakhru, leader of the firm's Technology Companies Group, a 2026 Rising Star.

Samir is singled out for his impact advising disruptive companies and leading investors, strengthening our communities and investing in the next gen of legal talent at Team Orrick. He has advised on more than $20 billion in venture financings and more than $5 billion in M&A for innovators and investors. He also serves on the Board of the South Asian Bar Association of New York and advises mission-driven organizations, including the South Asian Healthcare Leadership Forum and the NYU Impact Investment Fund.
