Federal agencies can now save up to 64% on transformational tools for IT modernization and cybersecurity protection through this new OneGov Agreement
WASHINGTON - Today, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced a new OneGov agreement with Broadcom, providing federal agencies with highly discounted access to a suite of modern enterprise software solutions from Broadcom's VMware portfolio.
"GSA is moving fast to deliver acquisition deals that save taxpayers money," said GSA Administrator Ed Forst. "We're happy to work with Broadcom to drive simpler, more effective buying across the federal government."
The offer provides agencies with discounts of up to 64% for the deployment of secure, scalable, and AI-ready applications. The package includes the VMware Tanzu Platform and VMware Tanzu Data Intelligence, as well as VMware Avi Load Balancer and the VMware vDefend (inclusive of Distributed Firewall and Advanced Threat Prevention). Additionally, agencies have the option to purchase the VMware Tanzu AI Starter Kit, which combines core Tanzu tools with professional services to speed up AI prototyping and deployment.
"This agreement represents another major milestone under the OneGov initiative and advances President Trump's call to accelerate AI adoption across government," said Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum. "By partnering directly with Broadcom, we're expanding access to commercial-grade AI and cybersecurity capabilities - while reducing cost and complexity for agencies."
The agreement is available until May 2027 through GSA's Multiple Award Scheduleunder the OneGov framework.
"Broadcom's deep engagement and strategic partnership with the GSA on this offer significantly advances the core objectives of the OneGov Strategy," said Hock Tan, President and CEO, Broadcom. "This initiative reinforces our commitment to optimizing value and enhancing overall effectiveness for federal agencies. We are focused on providing innovative solutions that empower agencies to elevate their security, enhance their operational agility, and achieve unprecedented efficiency in support of AI, modern, and traditional workloads."
This agreement directly supports Executive Order 14240, advancing the OneGov Strategy's goals of unified buying, commercial efficiency, and improved mission outcomes across federal agencies. It also contributes to better procurement outcomes by standardizing IT procurement, updating acquisition methods, and enhancing responsibility across government and industry.
With this new offering, agencies can access enterprise software that supports mission-critical modernization goals - from secure data management and AI adoption to enhanced network resilience - at significantly reduced cost.
