Police responded to the area of Cedar St & Massachusetts Ave on a report of a crash involving a cyclist. The cyclist sustained minor injuries, the vehicle operator was issued a citation.

David Tom, 49, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on charges of Possession of a Class B Substance, Destruction of Evidence and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law. Officers observed Tom and a female engaged in a street level drug transaction. When officers approached, Tom was observed holding a white, rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine which he then began to break up and conceal.
