Congressman Bean Supports NDAA Passage, Secures Wins for Troops

WASHINGTON-Today, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) issued the following statement after the House passed the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), advancing key national security provisions to strengthen America's defense and securing critical wins for service members and their families.

Congressman Bean said, "I believe in peace through strength, and a strong, well-equipped military is essential to that strategy. While the bill is not perfect, this year's NDAA safeguards America's future, supports our warfighters, and secures our national defense. It invests in cutting-edge technologies, reinforces nuclear deterrence, secures our southern border, and boosts readiness against growing threats. Congress puts warfighters ahead of politics, delivers a 3.8% pay raise for service members, and saves taxpayers over $20 billion through cost-cutting measures led by DOGE. With its passage, we are ensuring our military remains unrivaled worldwide, while supporting the service members and families who protect our freedoms."
