Hometown Christmas Planning Meeting
The City of Tehachapi is hosting a Hometown Christmas planning meeting on Wednesday, October 8 at noon at the Tehachapi Police Department, 220 W. C Street. All community members and local organizations interested in participating in the event or sharing ideas are invited to attend. Members of the City of Tehachapi Community Engagement Department will lead the discussion on the preliminary plans for this year's event and will provide an update on how businesses can get involved. Hometown Christmas aims to help kick off the holiday spirit and will provide activities for visitors in between other Christmas-related events happening around town on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. The event will be held on Green Street and will feature vendors selling holiday-related items, free crafts and activities for kids, and live entertainment. The event will wrap up in time for the annual Christmas Parade set to take place at 5:30 p.m. on F Street; the Christmas Tree lighting will take place at the Tehachapi Depot Museum after the parade.
