North American and International Tour Kicks Off Feb 26

Yesterday, grunge-pop critical darlings and Brooklyn badasses Pom Pom Squad made their national television debut on the Kelly Clarkson Show, bringing an uppercut performance of "Street Fighter" to life.

One of the standout cuts from the band's recent album ' Mirror Starts Moving Without Me ' (via City Slang Records), the performance showcased not only the collective angst and power of the band, but also the formidable prowess of frontwoman Mia Berrin. Decked out in an original look created by designer Meg Beck (calling to mind Alice In Wonderland, one of the main creative inspirations for the new album), Berrin delivered charm, camp, and high-velocity ferocity.

'Mirror Starts Moving Without Me' was released in 2024 to unanimous acclaim, with Rolling Stone naming it one of " The Best 100 Albums of 2024 ", Pitchfork calling it "a record of singalong catharsis", and NY Times saying it "balances between regrets and the perverse pleasures of self-destruction"

The band recently performed as part of The Last Show with Stephen Colbert's #LateShowMeMusic series, announced a forthcoming national North American tour , and Mia appeared on the covers of Paste Magazine and ANTICS Magazine .

'Mirror Starts Moving Without Me' is a product of a childhood spent loving Sailor Moon, Street Fighter, Sade and horror cinema and serves as a vehicle for Berrin to excavate herself and rediscover her own identity in the wake of the major attention garnered from the band's breakout debut album Death of a Cheerleader.
