Traffic Advisory: Salisbury Street Culvert Work
WORCESTER, Mass. - The municipality is replacing a culvert that crosses Salisbury Street in the vicinity of Whisper Drive. Work began June 1, 2026, and will continue through the summer and into the fall.
Work will be completed in two phases with each phase only occupying one side of the street at a time. Traffic will be diverted to the side not being worked on and will alternate northbound and southbound. Temporary traffic control signals will regulate the flow of traffic. Expect delays particularly at morning and evening rush times.
