Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias to Travel to Cairo for Greece - Cyprus - Egypt Trilateral Meeting

Today, the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, is travelling to Cairo, where on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, he will attend a Trilateral Meeting with the Minister of Defence and Military Production of the Arab Republic of Egypt, General Ashraf Salem Zaher, and the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus, Vasilis Palmas.

The focus of the discussions will be the further enhancement of the cooperation among the Armed Forces of the three countries, joint exercises and training activities, operational interoperability, cooperation in the area of new technologies and defence innovation, as well as the challenges in the security environment in the broader region.
