2026 Alabama Rookie State Tournament Set to Begin June 4–8 in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL - The City of Montgomery is excited to welcome to town the Diamond Youth Baseball (DYB) 2026 Alabama Rookie State Tournament. The Tournament, will be held June 4 - 8, 2026, at Lagoon Park, located at 2855 Lagoon Park Drive.

This year's tournament brings together talented young athletes from across the state to compete, grow, and celebrate the spirit of youth baseball. Organizers extend their warmest congratulations to every team participating. Reaching this stage is a remarkable achievement in itself, and all who have earned their place in the tournament can already be considered winners.

Families, fans, and spectators are encouraged to cheer enthusiastically, support all teams, and help create a positive environment for the players. As always, good sportsmanship remains the heart of the game - win or lose, every participant should leave feeling proud of their accomplishments.

The State Champions and Runner-Ups in the 7U, 9U, and 11U divisions will earn the honor of representing Alabama in the 2026 Regional World Series, also set to take place in Montgomery from July 15-20, 2026.

While only a few will advance, everyone can leave the state tournament as a winner-through hard work, teamwork, and the lifelong memories created on and off the field.
