City to Host Virtual Open House Sessions for East Gate City Boulevard Corridor Study

The City of Greensboro Department of Transportation will host two virtual open house sessions for the East Gate City Boulevard Corridor Study on Tuesday, April 28, from noon-1 pm and 6-7 pm. To register, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/virtualEGC.

The virtual open house will give community members an opportunity to learn more about the study, review proposed concepts, and share feedback with City staff. The study is evaluating current conditions along East Gate City Boulevard, and exploring options to improve safety, enhance public transit, and create more walkable and bike-friendly streets along the corridor, building on the recommendations of the East Gate City Boulevard Corridor Plan, adopted by City Council in August 2023.

The information provided at the April 28 open house sessions will be the same as what was presented to the community in February.

Community feedback will help inform next steps as the project moves forward. Additional information is available at www.greensboro-nc.gov/EastGateCityCorridor.
