County Executive Marcus Henry Announces Small Business Membership Award Program

NEW CASTLE - Today, New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry announced an initiative in collaboration with the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce. This initiative will grant 10 unique, local businesses with a one-year Chamber membership.

Through this collaboration, 10 small businesses will receive a complimentary one-year Chamber membership, giving them access to a wide range of valuable resources, including networking opportunities, business promotion, professional training, and exclusive member events.

"The strength of our local economy starts with our small businesses," said County Executive Marcus Henry. "We're excited to connect entrepreneurs with the tools, support, and visibility they need to grow. This program is about investing in our community's talent and future."

"The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce is a great resource for knowledge sharing, networking, growth, and professional development," said NCC Director of Economic Development Jeffrey Buhrman. "The Henry Administration wants to provide a bridge between our hard-working small business community and the resources that can help them overcome these challenges."

The application window will be open from November 10^th through November 24^th, and recipients will be announced on Small Business Saturday, November 29^th.
