American Honda today announced the return of its Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 for the 2027 model year. Each of these multipurpose side-by-side platforms combines the maneuverability, versatility and capability owners depend on for embarking on weekend trail rides, tackling chores around the property and everything in between. Available in six versions, the midsize Pioneer 700 lineup lets customers choose the seating configuration and feature set that best fit their needs. Meanwhile, the Pioneer 520's relatively small footprint lets it navigate narrow trails and fit in the bed of many full-size pickup trucks. Like all Honda side-by-sides, the Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 are designed, developed and built in the U.S. using domestic and globally made parts, and are backed by Honda's reputation for quality and durability.
"The Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 continue to embody Honda's commitment to building side-by-sides that are as capable at work as they are on the trail," said Colin Miller, Manager of Experiential Marketing at American Honda. "From hauling supplies around the farm to exploring backcountry trails, these models are designed to deliver the versatility and reliability that Honda customers expect."
Pioneer 700
Available in three trim levels across two-seat and four-seat configurations, the do-it-all Pioneer 700 platform is ideal for recreation or shortening daunting to-do lists. It's powered by a durable 675cc single-cylinder engine and boasts comfortable, long-travel suspension, along with enough storage space to carry all the necessary cargo. The original Honda Pioneer, this midsize rec/utility side-by-side offers exceptional value, delivering impressive convenience features and extensive accessory options.
Pioneer 520
Not every job-or every adventure-calls for a full-size machine. The Pioneer 520 is Honda's answer for owners who want real capability without the bulk: a multipurpose side-by-side compact enough to navigate narrow trails or tuck into the bed of a full-size truck, yet tough enough to handle a full day's work around the farm or property. It's the rare machine that doesn't force a choice between utility and fun, proving that size isn't what separates a serious side-by-side from a casual one.
