CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council authorized the Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) to apply for a $12,223,173 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Program.
The funding would support a $15.2M project to rehabilitate International Drive and construct new mixed-use paths. This would increase connectivity and pedestrian safety and improve environmental sustainability, benefiting airport travelers and the surrounding community.
