VOV marks 100 Years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day

The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) held a commemorative ceremony on 9 June to mark the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day, celebrated annually on 21 June 2025. The event highlighted VOV's century-long journey and honoured the contributions of generations of journalists who have played a vital role in the country's media development.

Speaking at the event, President of VOV Do Tien Sy recalled the visits of President Ho Chi Minh to the station and the encouragement he gave to media professionals. Over the years, VOV has continued to evolve, embracing new technologies and upholding its commitment to delivering timely and reliable information to the public.

Looking ahead, President Do Tien Sy emphasised the importance of digital transformation in enhancing VOV's multi-platform communication. He outlined a vision focused on producing high-quality, in-depth content and nurturing a new generation of skilled, adaptable journalists. During the event, 36 journalists were recognised for their outstanding contributions to the profession.
