Free Tire Recycling Event in Hawaiian Gardens

The City of Bellflower encourages residents to clear out their garages and participate in a free Tire Recycling Event on Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hawaiian Gardens City Hall, 21815 Pioneer Blvd., Hawaiian Gardens, CA.

Hosted in partnership with Los Angeles County Public Works, Clean LA and CalRecycle, the event offers a free and convenient way to dispose of unwanted tires responsibly. Proper disposal keeps local neighborhoods and waterways clean by preventing illegal dumping.

Residents may bring used passenger vehicle tires including those with metal rims. Tractor-sized tires will not be accepted. The event is open to all LA County residents; commercial businesses may not participate. State law requires a temporary hauling permit to transport 10 or more tires. Residents can obtain a free permit in advance by calling (626) 430-5540.
