Debris Cleanup:
Firework debris can remain hot long after the display ends and may ignite fires if left unattended. After celebrating:
-
Soak all spent fireworks in water before disposal.
-
Inspect your yard, roof, landscaping and surrounding areas for smoldering debris.
-
Properly dispose of firework waste in a safe manner.
-
Help keep neighborhoods clean by picking up litter and debris.
A few extra minutes of cleanup can prevent fires, injuries and property damage.
