Lewisville-Flower Mound Teen Court presents Teen Talks, a series created to give teens a place to learn about real-life issues and how they connect to the law.
Each session will feature presentations, videos and conversations with subject matter experts.
Upcoming dates and topics:
* Thursday, Sept. 17, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Lewisville Municipal Court, 1197 W. Main St.: Youth Empowerment: Recognizing Abuse and Protecting Yourself
* Thursday, Oct. 15, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Flower Mound Municipal Court, 4150 Kirkpatrick Lane: Distracted Driving and CPR
* Thursday, Nov. 19, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Lewisville Municipal Court, 1197 W. Main St.: MADD- Drunk Driving Presentation
* Thursday, Dec. 17, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Flower Mound Municipal Court, 4150 Kirkpatrick Lane: 911- When, How and Why
All teens are welcome! Teens who attend can receive 2 hours of community service credit.
Teen Court and Diversion participants may be eligible for additional community service credit when attending with a parent, guardian, sibling or friend.
