Spring/summer 2026 edition of Alumni Spirit magazine now available

Presenting the spring/summer 2026 edition of Spirit magazine ! As UAA's premier alumni publication, these stories capture the great work of fellow grads from your Hometown U.

This issue is a celebration of the creative spirit, showcasing stories that explore how UAA alumni harness imagination to shape their careers, strengthen their communities and reimagine the possibilities. On campus, you'll read about the reinstatement of UAA's dance minor , as well as how a new simulation courtroom is providing Justice Center students with the perfect environment to rehearse their craft.

Some of the grads you'll meet in this issue include a social work alumna who forged a career path leading to her recent appointment as principal deputy director at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services . You'll also read about an auto and diesel technology program alumnus and professor who co-founded the Auto Diesel Expo , which gives the public - especially kids - the opportunity to explore their technical curiosities.

With these stories and many more, please enjoy leaning in and learning more about how #SeawolfNation continues to make an impact in Alaska and beyond.
