New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry names Jeff Buhrman as Economic Development Director

New Castle, DE - New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry is proud to announce Jeff Buhrman as his pick for Economic Development Director.

"Jeff's experience helping small businesses develop and grow is going to be a major asset for our administration," County Executive Henry said. "I look forward to working with Jeff as we expand and develop ways we can make New Castle County the best place to start and grow a business."

Buhrman spent the last 15 years at Bloomberg, L.P., working across a variety of roles. Most recently Buhrman worked on technological infrastructure and application design and implementation. Buhrman also worked heavily with some of Bloomberg's largest clients in the financial sector and offered extensive support for Bloomberg's first-generation mentorship program.

Buhrman is a New Castle County native and 2005 graduate of St. Mark's High School. Buhrman graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's of Science in Finance in 2009 and continued his education at New York University's Stern School of Business, earning his Master's in Business Administration in 2016.
