Description:

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to stop using Warm Feather Pull String Highchair Teething Toys immediately. The teething toys violate the mandatory standard for toys because the silicone strings are longer and thinner than permitted. The strings can reach the back of children's throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress and deadly choking hazard.

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the pull string toys immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous toys.

CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the seller, Suzhoujinchengzidianzishangwuyouxiangongsi (Suzhou Jinchengzi Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd.), dba Gold-Orange, of China. Gold-Orange has not cooperated with requests to recall these teething toys.

The teething toys consist of yellow suction cup base with a teal ball in the center and six white, orange, and blue silicone pull strings that run through the ball. The base has six soft push buttons. "Table toy" is printed on the front of the product packaging.

Report any incidents involving injury or product defect to CPSC at www.SaferProducts.gov.

Incidents/Injuries:

CPSC is aware of nine reports of children beginning to choke on the toys. No medical attention was required.

Sold Online At:
Amazon.com from July 2023 through April 2026 for about $12. The teether toy may have also been sold by various third-party sellers and on other websites.
