Construction Activity Prompts Rolling Road Blocks on I-75 S in Knox County

Motorists traveling on I-75 South in Knox County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, February 20, rolling roadblocks will be in place on I-75 South, beginning at Exit 117 (Raccoon Valley Road), as crews perform blasting activities near the Exit 112 (Emory Road/Powell) ramp. These rolling roadblocks will allow crews to safely clear any debris that may land on the roadway. Duration of rolling roadblocks is approximately 15-20 minutes.
