Charlotte County Economic Development and SBDC at FGCU to Host Digital Marketing Trends Workshop

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (March 2, 2026) - Charlotte County Economic Development, in partnership with the Florida Small Business Development Center at Florida Gulf Coast University, will host an in-person workshop on changing trends in digital marketing from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on March 12, 2026. The event will be offered at no cost to participants.

The workshop will take place at the Charlotte County Economic Development Office conference room, 18501 Murdock Circle, Suite 203, Port Charlotte. Lunch will be provided to registered attendees. The session will be led by Theresa Ayers and will examine how shifts in search, social media, paid advertising and consumer behavior are influencing how businesses connect with customers.

Designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners, the program will focus on practical strategies that help businesses improve visibility, build credibility and generate consistent leads in today's digital environment. Attendees will gain insight into current tactics and how to prioritize marketing efforts for measurable results.

The event reflects ongoing collaboration between Charlotte County Economic Development and the Florida SBDC at FGCU to provide local businesses with training and resources that support growth and competitiveness.
