Governor Ron DeSantis Makes Three Judicial Appointments

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announces three judicial appointments.

Leslie Schultz-Kin, of Tampa, to serve as Judge on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court

Judge Schultz-Kin has served as a County Court Judge for Hillsborough County since 2021. Previously, she served as a Chief Assistant Attorney General/Bureau Chief for the Florida Office of Attorney General. She earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio University and her juris doctor from Stetson University. Judge Schultz-Kin fills the judicial vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Jacobs.

Adam Bantner, of Lithia, to serve as Judge on the Hillsborough County Court

Bantner has worked as the President of the Bantner Firm since 2016. Previously, he served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. He earned his bachelor's degree from Florida Southern College and his juris doctor from Florida State University. Bantner fills the judicial vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Martin.

Christopher Saba, of Tampa, to serve as Judge on the Hillsborough County Court

Saba has worked as an Attorney for Wenzel Fenton Cabassa, P.A. since 2021. Previously, he worked as an Attorney for Kubicki Draper P.A. He earned his bachelor's degree from Huntingdon College and his juris doctor from Florida Coastal. Saba fills the judicial vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Rich.
