Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong's Visit to the Argentine Republic and the United Kingdom, 20 to 28 October 2025
Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make a working visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 20 to 24 October 2025, followed by a working visit to London, the United Kingdom, from 24 to 28 October 2025.
In Buenos Aires, Senior Minister Lee will meet senior Argentine political figures, key Congressional personalities, and prominent Argentine businessmen. Senior Minister Lee will also attend a meeting of the JP Morgan International Council. He has been a member of this council since 28 March 2025.
In London, Senior Minister Lee will meet senior British political figures and business leaders from the technology and corporate sectors. He will also speak at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, on shifting geopolitical and economic trends in an era of heightened global uncertainty. In addition, Senior Minister Lee will visit the Imperial College London (ICL)'s Schools of Convergence Science (SCS), a new interdisciplinary school to advance cross-cutting research across various disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence, engineering, health technology, space, security, and telecommunications.
Senior Minister Lee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office
