Northbound US-127 closures begin Thursday, Oct. 9, for sign truss installation

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the northbound US-127 ramp to eastbound I-96 and have intermittent closures of US-127 between Holt Road and I-96 for sign truss installation on Thursday night and Friday morning in Lansing.

Traffic restrictions:
This project will require closing the northbound US-127 ramp to eastbound I-96 along with two 15-minute intermittent closures of northbound US-127 between Holt Road and I-96 from 9 p.m. Oct. 9 to 5 a.m. Oct. 10 throughout the operation. Traffic control will be maintained by the Michigan State Police (MSP). Motorists should expect delays.

Safety benefit:
This work will provide improved signs along the US-127 corridor. Closing lanes will provide a safe work zone for workers and motorists.
