Grow your gardening knowledge in this series of 11 weekly webinars covering the basics of growing vegetables in Alaska.

Casey Matney, the Kenai-based agriculture and horticulture agent with the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service, will lead the free classes. Topics include seed starting, soil testing, raised beds, planting potatoes, hardening off seedlings and transplanting them, and composting.

Join the classes each Tuesday via Zoom from 5:30-6:30 p.m. from April 8 to June 17. You can register for one or all of the classes on the gardening websiteor by visiting https://bit.ly/AlaskaGardening.

Can't make a class? Preregister and a link to the video will be emailed to you.
