University of Wyoming Professor of Philosophy Bradley Retter will present "Bitcoin: Beyond the Price, How it Works and How to Evaluate It" at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27 in Bond Hall 215.
This event is free and open to the public.
In this talk, Retter, who is the founding director of the Bitcoin Research Institute at the University of Wyoming, will explain what bitcoin is and how it works, and offer a framework for evaluating it - not in terms of an investment, but whether it is good for the world.
