HEYBURN - Beginning Monday, Sept. 21, the Idaho Transportation Department will activate a new traffic signal on U.S. Highway 30 for drivers to access the Interstate 84 Interchange.
Drivers will access Interstate 84 from the signal on US-30 via the access road and bridge over the interstate. Follow the signs and traffic signals along the route.
To reach eastbound State Highway 24 from I-84 at Exit 211, proceed north from the off-ramp using the access road. To reach westbound SH-24, proceed south from the off-ramp using the access road and signal.
Watch this video to see how traffic will move through the interchange.
Please continue to use caution, slow down and pay attention.
Construction has been underway since 2024 to update the Heyburn and Burley interchanges to meet growing traffic demands. Construction is expected to be completed this fall.
The project is funded as part of Gov. Little's Leading Idaho transportation funding initiative. The Leading Idaho initiative allows ITD to take a deliberate approach to advance large projects that will enhance safety, improve mobility, further strengthen Idaho's economy, and positively impact the Magic Valley and communities across the state for years to come.
