Ascension Illinois grows neurosurgery team in northwest suburbs

Ascension Illinois is excited to announce that it is adding Dr. Tamir Hersonskey to its medical group for neurosurgery. Dr. Hersonskey will see patients at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village. He has particular clinical interest in:

• The removal of brain and spine tumors
• The removal of skull and pituitary tumors
• Spinal surgeries for degenerative and traumatic disorders
• Treatment of nerve disorders
• Treatment of bleeding inside the skull
• Treating chronic low back pain from joint instability
• Specialized treatment of trigeminal neuralgia
• Relieving patients of brainstem compression

Dr. Hersonskey is board certified with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and dedicated to neurological surgical advancements. He has extensive experience working in facilities across Chicagoland and completed his Residency at the University of Illinois Chicago.

There, our experts can tackle neck pain, numbness, difficulty sleeping, migraines, problems remembering, and other underlying brain, spine and nervous system conditions.
